AMCD is in search of an experienced Mosquito Control Pilot:

Must have:  at least three (3) years mosquito control experience, at least 500 hours of helicopter flight time, and experience in low level or agricultural spraying,

Must hold a current FAA Commercial Pilot's License (or higher) with helicopter endorsement, a current PHPC License and a current public helath aerial license or obtain both within six (6) months of hire date, and a current class II or higher FAA Medical Certificate,

Exempt - Full time position at $30-$35 per hour to begin, full benefits after 180 day probation, must be 18 years of age or older and have valid Florida Driver's License, a high school diploma (however, college Degree is preferred), Background, Driver's license checks and drug screens mandatory and Training provided.

AMCD is searching for an Airframe and Power Plant (A & P) Aircraft Mechanic with Inspection Authorization who will join the AMCD team to work closely with the AMCD Pilot, performing highly skilled and technical duties including repair and maintenance of the District's helicopter, maintaining logbooks and records, all in accordance with the manufacturer's, FAA, and the District's standards and requirements, as well as other duties as needed.

This is a full time, non-exempt position with full benefits (after 180 day probation).

Annual Salary: $65,000

Qualifications required for the position are:
High School Diploma or GED, however, college degree preferred,
Valid and current FAA Airframe & Power Plant License with inspection authorization,
five (5) years of verifiable aircraft maintenance experience,
Bell 206B Field Maintenance Course Completion Certificate,
Rolls Royce M250/T63 Training Course Completion Certificate, and
must possess a set of mechanical tools appropriate for service and repair of Bell 206B3 helicopter 

Public Health Pest Control License is required within 6 months of employment.
