                             FULL-TIME
               BIOLOGICAL TECHNICIAN

AMCD is searching for a Biological Technician that can rear mosquitoes, manage the laboratory, including, but not limited to: coordinating, planning, and scheduling laboratory equipment usage, inventory, reagents, and ordering/purchasing material supplies; chemical, biohazard, and safety control, and assisting with intern students and visiting scientists' projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:  At least a B.S. Degree in Entomology, Biology, or Public Health, with at least one (1) year of experience.  A Master's Degree is preferred.

The position is FULL TIME with Full Benefits
(based on policy probation periods)

Salary: $35,325.00 annually

   FULL TIME EDUCATION SPECIALIST

AMCD is searching for an Education Specialist who will coordinate/organize the District employee's trainings, school programs in teaching basic biology and control of mosquitoes and mosquito-borne diseases, public education and outreach, host and update AMCD's website and social media.

Qualifications:  BS or Master's Degree in Entomology, Biology or Public Health, with at least 1 year work experience.

The position is FULL TIME with Full Benefits
(based on policy probation periods)

Annual Salary is $37,852 and is a Non-Exempt position.
