the residents of St. Johns County, in order to effectively serve the needs of our community.

Anastasia Mosquito Control District (AMCD).

The goal of AMCD is to preserve and protect the community from mosquitoes and mosquito-borne diseases by reducing
nuisance and disease spreading mosquito populations.
I am aware of the measures I can take to protect myself from mosquitoes and mosquito-borne diseases by practicing the
5 D’s of Prevention:
Don’t go outside between Dusk and Dawn.
Use a repellent containing 30% or less DEET.
Drain standing water and empty containers to prevent mosquito larvae.
Dress to reduce exposed skin while outside.
I am an active participant in contributing to the 5 D’s of Prevention.
