Soliciting State Legislation Lobbying Firms in Florida
The Anastasia Mosquito Control District of St. Johns County, St. Augustine, Florida is seeking to engage the services of experienced state legislation lobbying firm licensed and registered to operate in Florida. We are interested in firms with a proven track record of advising clients on legislative and executive branch matters, represent organization interest before state agency, & provide strategic guidance on compliance with Florida lobbying law and reporting requirements, including registration with the Florida Lobbyist Registration System. Qualified firms should demonstrate:
• Expertise in Florida legislative processes and public policy advocacy.
• Understanding of federal, state, and local lobbying regulations.
• Ability to provide comprehensive strategic counsel, including policy analysis, bill monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.
• Established professional network with Florida legislators, executive agencies, and relevant committees.
• Proven experience in ethical lobbying practices and adherence to all transparency and disclosure requirements. Interested firms are invited to submit a concise proposal detailing (RFP requirement at www.amcdsjc.org ):
1. Firm credentials and relevant experience.
2. Examples of recent lobbying campaigns at the Florida state level.
3. Approach to compliance with registration, reporting, and ethical standard under Florida law.
4. Proposed engagement structure and fee model.

The purpose of this position is to support our mosquito control operations and respond to service requests from the citizens of St. Johns County. Paid training is provided.

Anastasia Mosquito Control District of St. Johns County is seeking a seasonal employee to join our team as Equipment and Facilities Maintenance Technician from May 4th, 2026, to October 31st, 2026. This is a seasonal position with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. The purpose of this position is to perform general ground and building maintenance and perform repairs and all mechanical work associated with District tools, vehicles and equipment.
